The World According to Monsanto
La Montanita Co-op will host a screening of the movie, "The World According to Monsanto", Thursday, September 17th. The screening will be held at Immanuel Presbyterian Church across the street from the Nob Hill store at 6:00 PM. Light GMO-free refreshments will be served. All are welcome!
The Co-op Trade initiative is an expansion of our efforts to support local farmers, ranchers and producers, bring high quality local/regional food to consumers and build the local food movement economy.
Based on our regional watersheds and traditional acequias the Co-op Trade’s“food-shed” project serves a 300-mile radius around Albuquerque.
Our Co-op Distribution Center warehouse, the hub of this project, provides pick-up, supply and storage services for producers and distribution of regional products to our four stores and other retail outlets and co-ops.
